Good evening, blogosphere. I just started this blog and I already feel like I am neglecting it. Poor blog, don't worry, I still love you. Everything else is getting neglected too. The only thing I managed to force myself to do this weekend is read As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, interspersed with The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff (a review for that will be coming as soon as I finish it). So, now I have an epic book crush on Mackie Doyle, and a draft of my unit plan due on Thursday, and I have to be up at the crack of dawn to go to my Professional Block placement which happens to be an hour away. Do not fret, oh fair blogosphere. I will return, hopefully on a day where I don’t have to leave my house at 5:45 in the morning. There are so many things going on in the next couple of weeks, I’m sure there will be things to write about.
NaNo update: I’m way behind, if you couldn’t tell. My story is going, and I know where it is going, I just am not sure how to get there. But I actually feel really good about where it is going. So, if anyone wants to friend me on NaNaWriMo, you can find me at elharkin1.
