This week's "needs-to-be-out-now" release is:
Summary (from IMDB): Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World, so everything they do must go as planned.
Alright, I know that this is not a book, but it was at one point and it was a darn good one at that. There has been a generation of kids who have grown up with Harry, Ron and Hermoine and more kids who have grown up with Daniel, Rupert and Emma. J. K. Rowling created an international phenomenon that revolved around an orphan boy, his friends, their school and the embodiment of evil, complete with magic, suffering, love, and friendship. I devoured The Deathly Hallows in two days, only because I had to sleep so that I could go to work the next day. I love this book. When I need inspiration to write elegantly, I look to J. K. This was one of the few books that actually made me cry and have to put the book down. The hype around this movie has been so huge that you would have to live under a rock to miss out on it. I have a roommate who is obsessive about all things Harry Potter (lets call her secret codename: Miss Fancypants) and at least every other day, I hear classic Harry Potter music coming from her computer. I have not been immune to the hype, and as the release date grows closer, I get more excited.
My roommates and I got midnight tickets for this the first day that we could, we made shirts for our Quidditch team and got brooms. This is a phenomena that I am not willing to miss out on as a reader and as a member of the Harry Potter generation. Harry Potter changed so many people's lives and opened the door to YA literature for so many other authors and readers, how could I let myself miss an event like this? So, I will be there, at midnight, with my Quidditch team and a box of Kleenex in case anyone finds camping particularly moving. Will you?

Great pick. I think we are all excited to see this movie. Although no opening night for me.
