Happy Holidays everyone! I hope that everyone who celebrates Christmas had a wonderful one and that any one who doesn't had a great week and that EVERYONE has a fantastic New Year this week. I myself had a great Christmas with my family even though it snowed... a lot. I'll take some pictures tomorrow of the massive snow pile in the middle of the street. But, at least right now, I'm pretty okay being sort of snowed in because look what I got for Christmas:

Yes, I got a Kindle for Christmas! It is such a fun little gadget and I love it, but it will never replace the tactile feel of real books. I'm already starting to miss the awesome cover art. It will make travel much easier and it amazes my Dad which is always amusing. So, who else got eReaders for Christmas or already has one? What do you think?
I bought my Kindle at the end of September so I've had a couple of months to get used to it. I do love it though and I find I read much quicker too. I still read and love paper books too . When I'm buying a new book I tend to look to see if it's available on kindle, check out the price (some are still way too expensive for an ebook) and the final deciding factor for me is the cover. If the book has a fabulous cover, I will still buy the paper version :)
ReplyDeleteOH I wish I had a Kindle. I have a little one, and he likes biting my books :( PLUS there is a new thing coming out soon.. SHare your Kindle books.. for 14 days you can give someone a book, and let them read it, no charge. Good for me since I read so fast :)
